Arrived Thursday evening after a 4-hour drive. Set up camp in the dark — wish we'd packed the headlamps more accessibly. The trail to Half Dome was harder than expected but the summit was worth every step. Bears got into the food cache on night two; everything was in the cannister so nothing was lost.
